Exalt His Name Poetry was born in 2020. EHNP (Exalt His Name Poetry) started as a Connect Group. Where an intimate number of women would come together each week for (4 months) virtually. God would give me a word, literally a word for example (peace, joy, love, good) every week plus bible verses and passages concerning that word for the week. Week after week we would read and meditate on those verses concerning that particular word assigned for that week. After each call, I would send a message in our group chat with poetry prompts concerning that word. The next week we come together again, recite our poems to each other. Then we move into the next word for that particular week. We never left a call without being uplifted in God. He was on every call, and He made Himself known. I say an intimate number of women, meaning (about four or five women). I love for the groups to be small. It gave it that intimate feel and I believe God wanted it to be that way for that time; for closeness and comfort to share what’s really going on in our souls. The soul is (the mind).
At the end of 2022, God begin speaking to me about taking Exalt His Name Poetry to the next level.
